![]() The Battle of Actium took place in 31 B.C. in the Gulf of Corinth on the left side and near where the location of Patras is on our map. When Anthony divorced Octavia, Octavia set herself up as the champion of outraged womanhood, and induced the Roman Senate, to deprive Anthony of his authority and to declare war on Cleopatra. This war was the Battle of Actium which Octavia won through her trusted admiral Agrippa on September 2, 31 B.C. |
