Because of apostasy in the churches and because of evolutionary influences, people are denying that the Bible is the ultimate authority in every area it touches on, so they no longer have any basis for determining right from wrong.8. We talk about this more in another lesson. For now, Adam's sin ushered death, suffering, disease and destruction into the world. We all, as Adam's descendants, are responsible for our sin against our holy God and therefore play a part in the terrible things that happen. God is not responsible for the sin and death in the world - we are.
