Naos of Imhotep Hieroglyphics |
|
This recently discovered Roman period statue holding a naos dedicated to Imhotep, physician/architect for Pharaoh Djoser of the 3rd Dynasty, represents reportedly a late period cult of this famous personality. As best we could we tried to read the faint signs and came up with this untranslated rendition. It is also of great interest that from the time of Djoser several or a row of granaries have been found not mentioned in KMT. [KMT, Vol. 14, Fall 2003, p. 52] |
