Construction of Solomon's Temple Solomon (970-930) began the construction of the Temple of the Lord in 965 BC (1.Kings 6, esp. v. 37), which was 480 years after the giving of the law on Mt. Sinai, twenty years later it was finished, in 945 BC.
(2) Senneferi (TT99) was the overseer of the seal bearers of Thutmose III. His son in law was his deputy Amenhotep (son of Ahmes, director of cattle) whose tomb (C3) was found on the southern part of the Sheik Abd el-Qurna hill on the west bank of Luxor. Carl Piehl had found this tomb before in 1880.
